Gents and ladies:
I wish to thank the couple of folks who gave me advice on getting my Stroms
going, whose names I have forgotten, as usual. Specifically the guy who
suggested oiling the jet assemblies, which I did- I soaked them, sure made
it run rich for a while! Also, the guy who told me the float needle valve
gaskets were too thick was correct also, the kit had two gaskets, one fiber
and one metal. I threw the fiber ones out, and it runs great with just the
metal ones. I am now running it and leaning it out, not sure when to stop
leaning it, adjusting the idle, then the timing, back and forth....
Stromberg, the gift that keeps on giving.
Thanks again, get the bumpers on and finish the lighting wiring and woo-HOO,
I'm street legal!
