Paul I'm elated you and your son are unhurt. I have carried an extinguisher for years and have saved more than one Shelby Mustang from carb fires. I would advise great caution opening the hood if the engine is on fire. A flashback from the oxygen could burn your lungs and possibly do you in. Best open with a three foot stick.
