Front turn signal housing GROUNDING?

Hi,  how does the front turn signal assembly get a ground?  It looks
like the mounting screws and car body are pretty well insulated from the
turn signal base with only the place where the mounting screws pass
through the housing base as a possible, but not very good, ground
pick-up point.  Am I missing something?
