Hi Tom, The easiest way is as follows:- Pack the hole full of grease, including the volume in behind the bearing. Get a solid, parallel sided punch which just fits into the hole in the bearing, position it just into the bearing, and thump its exposed end with a hammer. The bearing will be forced out by the hydraulic pressure created in the grease. I've used this technique many times. Cheers John Slade |
