We talked with his wife Laila last night.

He's OK, and hangin' out in Kuwait--not exactly in the heat of the action as 
he'd like, but he's OK!

Last time he called her, he had been waiting in a really-really-really 
looooooooooong line to get at a telephone . . . Something went BOOM! real 
loud and real close-by, and everybody scrambled for cover . . . 'cept for 
Lou.  Lou clearly saw the "opportunity," and advanced to the front of the 
line!
