One opinion from the British Isles is that Alpines do not deserve to be 
driven in the rain, so the wipers on the SIII have not been used in anger for 
several years. In my defense, it does rain an awful lot here, and then there 
is the $10,000 for a total restoration job that I would not want to fund 
again.
