Nope......
That's the beauty of this. Rather than thinking "firing order", think of
"crankshaft rotation". 1 and 4 are opposites (on the crank) as are 2 and 3.
The "NINE" system is just a way of retaining in your mind to adjust #1
intake when #4 intake is fully open, #1 exhaust when #4 exhaust fully open,
etc.
Kinda like a "G U M P" check for pilots.......
"G" gas...... fuel on fullest "gas" tank, boost pump "on"
"U" undercarriage..... put the $#%(!#$ wheels down or it'll take FULL
POWER TO TAXI
"M" mixture...... push the mixture up; FULL RICH
"P" Prop in low pitch (for constant speed prop), POWER set for
landing
