Rootes to the Rock

I've just received some information on the Rootes rally from Melbourne to
Ayers Rock, Australia in August/September 2003. After giving much thought to
the subject I've concluded that I'm not quite mad enough to attempt such a
journey in a 30+ year old car. Would-be Steve Irwins or Crocodile Dundees
however feel free to drop me a line and I'll tell you what I know, or you
