The Prince of darkness strikes again!

Listers,

Recently while driving home from work I have had an intermittent electrical 
problem. When I apply the brakes on my Series II the headlights flicker 
and/or dim and the radio goes off - release the brakes and all back to 
normal. There doesn't seem to be any problem as far as the radio goes when 
the headlights are not on. Any ideas?
