Sorry to bomb the list but it seams that the plunger that is attached to the
brake pedal has fallen out of master cylinder in my series V, so that when i
press down on the brake pedal, the plunger shaft gets pressed against the
floor instead of into the shaft of the M.C.. On the return swing, since the
plunger is not inserted inside of the shaft, there is no "stop", so the pedal
returns to a very high position. As a result, the car has no brake action and
cannot be taken on the road. Does the entire MC have to be removed and
rebuilt, or what? Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
