The only flywheel I've seen that I would describe as "super thick and heavy"
is the one in my Commer van - since they wanted to emphasize low-end torque,
the flywheel is pretty darn huge compared to the ones on my 1725cc Alpine
and my 1390cc Minxes. The clutch is quite a bit bigger, too. Have you
checked the engine number to see what it came out of originally??
