trunk springs

Hey all-

What's the trick for putting those un-godly powerful springs back into the
trunk hinge mechanisms? I tried just doing it by hand and had to laugh. No
amount of spinach helped and taking a loop of webbing around me for leverage
still looked like a struggle. Any tips would be much appreciated before I
damage myself.
