Prepping Alpine body

Hello All,

I need your help in determining what steps I should follow in order to 
properly primer and prep my Alpine for the body shop.

Once Ive removed all the paint and facing bare metal, what should I do to 
preserve the bare metal (so it wont rust) and what type of primer to cover 
it before having it painted.
