That would be the one. A beautiful machine, and in common with the Tiger, was
standard issue to the Thames Valley police in the UK. Until that is they
totalled them all.
It was originally labelled the Daimler Dart, but they were forced to drop
that by Chrysler, who had already claimed the name Dart. Not sure where the
SP comes from (speed perhaps?), but the 250 is for the 2.5l V8 engine, shared
with the Daimler V8 saloon of the same era.
