The term '12B' has been used to describe the 12A motor fitted to the first RX7 -
apparently it was so changed from the original 12A some argued it should have a
different name - but Mazda never called it that. There was also a 10A rotary as
fitted to the R100 and the first RX3/Savannahs, this is a smaller capacity
motor, and there is also the triple rotor 20B....

And a bit more torque which is important in a Rotary......
