Marvin, Assuming it is not broken, you could send your camshaft to Delta Camshaft in Tacoma, Wa. and they can weld back material that can be ground to your specifications. They are equipped to heat-treat and parkerize their work. Delta has at least 30 different proven grinds for Alpine and Rapier.
