Jan,
Yes, I saw the 747 fly over my house last night around 5:00 and thought it was
Air Force One. Soon after, we heard the Sonic Booms and it really rocked the
house. My wife and I immediately rounded up the baby and got the hell out of
town. The first report that we heard on the radio was that another plane had
gone down somewhere near Wright Patt. We thought it may have been an attack on
the President, but soon learned that it was the Sonic Booms and that the plane
we saw was actually a NOAC Command Post Jet and not the President. We felt much
better after that, but were still very shook up. I've also seen a lot of
military convoys on the road this morning too. I think the sleeping giant has
been awoken... for the second time. I've heard reports that the loss of life
yesterday could greatly out number the losses during the entire Vietnam war.
The feeling I get today is that ALL Americans, black and white, have united
with the same opinions... War is in the air. We won't tolerate these actions on
American soil. - Ian

Did you guys notice that anything flying yesterday (after the attack),
was military aircraft only? I live near Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton OH
and my friend said he saw one of the 747 airborne command posts takeoff
from the Base. Also, a rare event overhead, we heard two sonic booms
from military aircraft going somewhere in a hurry!!! It really shook
everyone here. I think the last time that I heard one of those was back
in the early 1960's. After that got our attention, we started to observe
other military flights, way up about 40k-50k feet. It seemed very very
strange and eerie.
