Electric Tach Wiring

Help!

I have an electronic tach that I pulled out of an '69 Alpine GT fastback many
years ago, it has three connections on the back- a "lucar" square spade type
connector, a round plug in "male" connector and a round plug in "female"
connector.  What goes where????  Hoping it is the same as the Series V Alpine
or one of the Australian Hunters.
