Tech Tip from LBCarCo..... I recently ran across a neat tip for renewing the look of rubber bumpers that are not too far gone. A "spit shine" with black paste shoe polish will go a long way toward renewing the original appearance. It takes a little elbow grease (along with the spit), but the result is well worth the effort. In addition, it does a great job of restoring the dark black color to the seal between the windshield and body, the front & rear side marker lamp plinth, etc. |
