Lou has nailed the problem. In my opinion, my second gear jumping is minor
enough to not have to find a new gearbox, tailshaft, etc. We are going to focus
on the detent balls and springs, mainshaft spacers, and bronze bushings first.
This is a new OD unit still in the Laycock box and my gearbox shows very little
wear and tear. I will keep you posted. Thanks Brent
