Lucas claiming it was not their fault they could not make a round plate or
accurately locate holes is incredible.  These are rather simple operations,
and industrial equipment is rebuildable to the nth degree.  Why would anyone
agree to manufacture parts that they knew would be faulty?  Couldn't they
simply say "Sorry old chap, we are not capable of making the item."  sounds
like old fashioned greed.
