I've heard that tan (biscut) interior was offered as an option, but I've
personally never seen any documentation that states it. Can anyone add to that?
Code 86 world have come with black interior as standard from the factory. In my
opinion, if you were to go with the tan interior: Tan seats, door panels, kick
panels & carpets, BUT I would use black on the dash pad, lower dash rail, rear
waist roll, and soft boot, also on the upper arm pads on the doors. That is
more true to the way cars with scarlet or light blue interiors were done from
the factory. - Ian

My Tiger is about to come home from the body and paint
shop. I am painting it the original Rootes BRG 86. I
am considering a tan interior.
1) Was tan an original option?
2) If I choose to go tan instead of black, where does
the than stop? Is the dash pad and dash roll tan too?
Is EVERYTHING ususally tan or are some things not?
Thanks,
Chris
