I getting sick of this crap!!!
My son's series 5 is getting to me. After rebuilding the carbs, the car runs
like crap. If I feed it gas, I can start it, keep feeding and eventually
when warm, it will keep running.
We has sealed the intake manifold, so air gaps are out of the picture I think.
Fuel pump has been cleaned, tanks boiled, sealed and gas is crystal clean.
Gas is coming out of the line when disconnected and turned over.
Carbs have been rebuilt, with new gross jets. I didn't have a figure to set
floats so I went with the measurement of the old needle valves in the manual.
Once on, there is no way to tell if the damn things have gas in them.
I don't know. We did bead blast the carbs in pieces when we had them apart.
Then blew with air and lacquer thinner after. Could something be clogged?
This thing ran better before I touched it. One more thing. The oil in the
top of the CD 150's eventually leaks out after sitting for a few weeks. Why
is this? Is there a seal did not come with the rebuild kit that allows this?
Thanks for the advice.
