Sure Ford don't make tyres, but as far as I can see a car ain't much use and
would be pretty hard to sell without them. Ford also doesn't make all the other
components in its cars - a lot are just bought from suppliers and put in. But
Ford has a responsibility in respect of these parts - to attempt to make sure
they are of reasonable standard and to fix the problem if they're not. If your
brakes, transmission, engine failed within warranty you'd get them fixed - why
not tyres?
