Coolant should definitely include antifreeze because of the iron block, and aluminum head on our Alpines. 50/50 of antifreeze, and water, preferably distilled, works for me. As far as the gas goes, I get to run a tank of gas through he car about once a month, so the gas doesn't go bad.
