Sorry I can't make it to the party, sounds like fun. Tell the Harrington Le
Mans I said "Happy Birthday!"
You might find it interesting to learn that yet another Harrington Le Mans has
surfaced.
This one is a 40,000 mile one owner car that is entirely complete including the
original bill of sale and window sticker. It isn't running at this time and
will require a mild restoration. Restoration will be carried out by Ian & Jan
at sunbeamalpine.com.
This Harrington was just sold at an auction in Louisville, Ky last Sunday. The
new PROUD owner is very excited to have it and looks forward to driving the car
and meeting other Harrington owners. At this time he doesn't have a computer to
access the internet, but I can put anyone in comtact with him if need be.
There is a lot of Harrington activity going on right now and more and more of
these RARE Sunbeams are beginning to surface. It's good to know that the people
who are acquiring them are interested in preserving them back to their original
state. This will definately help to increase their value and help draw more
interest in the car. As always I am more than happy to help guide anyone who is
interested in learning more about these very rare cars. Feel free to contact me
anytime. - Ian mailto:ian@sunbeamalpine.org

A 1962 Sunbeam Harrington LeMans has come out of hiding and has been
acquired by Pacific Tiger Club members Rob and Beryl Carpenter.
This car was built on a Series II Alpine body that came off the assembly
line in the week ending June 8, 1962 and presumably, went from there to the
Harrington factory for modification.
Rob and Beryl invite you to come to the Harrington's 38th birthday party
on Saturday, June 10th. This will be a very informal, no program, no
meeting get together starting at 2 p.m. At about 3:00 p.m. we will put the
burgers on the grill.
email for directions: alpinedriver@aol.com.
