I have a different angle that could possibly help, if you haven't already c=
onsidered this. Do you have enough strength to start off in 1st gear? If so=
, have you considered 'slip shifting' like truck drivers do in their rigs f=
or the other shifts? I can do it and my brother, who is actually a truck dr=
iver, excels in it. IMO the Triumph tranny is very forgiving in this techni=
que. It almost won't let you slip into the next gear until the RPMs are rig=
ht.
Anyway, I'm always one for some totally different idea, to a fault.
