Kendall---You wrote that the engine doesn't "crank, or click, or anything". If
you bipass the seat belt interlock and still find the problem, I'd suggest a
battery connection circuit is incomplete. (Suspect ground strap)? One check
may be to see if the red in. light, which should come on when turning the key,
goes out or dims. It would certainly be more convenient if you could duplicate
the problem at your home, by adding a second ground strap between the body,
chassis and neg. battery post. You may want to do this anyway, for peace of
mind!
If the engine makes no sound when turning the key to the start position, the
problem is before the distributor, coil, etc.
