Check the wires on the ignition module inside the dist. Have had them rub the  
dist. cam and wear off insulation. This shorts to ground and creates a problem 
with current flow. Can be intermittent short and drive you nuts locating it.  
This was on a Speedster not my 6,  I'm just saying.
