Rick
The grease fittings for our u-joints are about an inch long so that a
normal grease gun will be able to apply the grease. Normal grease fittings are
to short and the gun will not be able to get pass the u-joint ends to supply
the grease.
TRF does sell these fittings but you may be able to get them at a
local store.

Subject: [6pack] Grease fittings - drive shaft
and rear axles
It's always the damnedest things that eat up a lot of time.
Recently
purchased a grease gun from TRF (the Tecalemet "Pom-Pom gun) and it
appears
that the connector that came with it is not correct. I've done an
internet
search looking for some sort of specification on the connector and
come up
empty.
It appears that these drive train parts need a Hydraulic HF
4048 connector,
based on the drawings accompanying the gun. Anyone have any
experience with
this and know where I can pick up the spare connector?
Alternatively, are
the grease nipples standard? If I buy a grease gun from
the auto parts
store should it just fit the darn thing?
Thanks,
Rick
