Re: [TR] installing rubber suspension bushings
Greg: I installed the hard rubber bushings from TRF, and borrowed a machined
"funnel" made by a machinist specifically for the job.......one end was big
enough to accept the uncompresed bushing, and the other end was the diameter
of the trailing arm hole. It was probably two inches long. So, as the
bushing was pulled thru the device (with silicone lube and the threaded rod
and washers as described by others), it compressed to the right diameter. The
owner (Kevin O) moved to Hudson, Ohio many years back... If you have any
machinist friends, perhaps they could turn one - more hassle/cost than it's
worth??
