After a ton of excellent suggestions from the list, I decided to cleanup the
fusebox. I disconnected the negative battery cable, made a quick diagram of
the wires, removed the wires and then the fusebox. I found out that someone
(DPO?) had stripped and replaced bottom screw with something but definitely
not a match to the top screw.I took out my trusty Dremel tool and cleaned up
the fusebox. It was pretty cruddy. I reinstalled it putting a couple of well
placed touches of dielectric grease on the terminals. And... it didn't do
anything. The lights still do not work. It's late tonight so this project
will be continued.
Thanks

>All - last night after leaving the Triumph Club meeting, I turned the
lights on my TR6 and left. The headlights >worked, but I had no gauge
lights. When I got home I realized that I also didn't have any taillights or
parking >lights. In checking Dan Master's book it seems these are all on one
fused circuit. I put in new Lucas fuses >and still have no working lights.
Dan Master's book really doesn't say much about losing all these lights. It
>mainly concentrates on other areas, but in looking at the wiring diagram it
looks like the front parking lights >get power BEFORE the switches and they
don't work either. I checked at the fuses and it seems like there is no
>power to the fuse?? Anyone have any ideas?
>Thanks
