So yesterday I put my engine in -- damn drive shaft is 2" too long with the
Good Parts diff and an A type OD. So now out it comes and off to the
driveline dhop yet again.
To put the bolts into the diff flange to drive shaft, I use a telescoping
magnet. Put the bolt on the magnet, shove it through the tunnel and guide
it into the hole. There is enough room to get the necessary two wrenches in
place to tighten the nut.
