Make sure you have the distributor pedestal. MAchine and/or press in a
brass bushing at the bottom -- maintain the .005 or so clearance indicated
in the m anuals between this bushing and the oil pump gear. I did not do
this and ended up ruining the gear with the rubbing between the bottom of
the pedestal and the gear.
