Hi All,
I'm doing an engine swap, and am thinking that it's a good time to address
a transmission issue. On decelleration in 3rd, the tranny wants to pop
out of gear. It's an older A-type OD tranny in a 74 1/2 TR6, and
everything else in the box works fine and is quiet, except for the fact
that the syncro is pretty shot on 3rd gear.
Is this problem possibly addressed with a simple bushing/syncro cup
replacement, or are harsher measures generally required? Anyone have
experience with this type of issue?
Regards,
-Don
