Victor:
You should be safe as far as pressure rating. The older automatic
transmission test gauges were 100lb gauges.
Volvo transmissions are probably a Borg-Warner unit, and the test equipment
would indicate that they run up to 100lbs pressure. The oil cooler would
be built for a higher rating for safety.
Some newer computer controlled transmissions run higher pressures because
the new test gauges now read up to 500lb pressure.
