Hi,
Do you mean the plinth or the center dash support? These are two different
things. The plinth is the thingie that the choke and heater controls go
into. It attaches to the bottom of the dash and the center dash support.
The center dash support is the thing that bolts to the floor (it actually
bolts onto the frame) and to the bottom of the dash proper.
Symantics, yes, but we all need to be on the same page.
Vance is correct - you should try to track down a used one and then
repair/recover as needed or pay $250 for a new one from TRF (REP428, REP
429 or REP430 according to the on-line catalog.
