Hi Tom,

It's not so much the blower, although they do have max flow capacities, 
but it's more the limitations of the design of the motor. I think the 
Moss kit & Sal's kit start with 5-6 lbs of boost using a 3-1/4" pulley. 
I have installed a smaller pulley to bring the boost to about 8-9 lbs. 
To safely raise boost pressures over 10 lbs you need to incorporate 
timing retard devices & water or alcohol injection, along with 92 oct 
gas.  I'm talking about street motors now, not  dragster engines that 
are rebuilt after a few runs down the track. Engines that run higher 
boost levels are usually designed that way when being built.
