Soft top header adhesive

Hi all;

I've been off the list for a couple of years but, now that my car is closer
to being back on the road (woohoo!), I've rejoined.

I'd like to ask what adhesive folks use on the soft top header rail when
installing a new hood? Is contact cement the way to go?
