Good morning everyone,
I had a brake incident yesterday that I have never come across before so
I am hoping people with more experience may have encountered it and can
help me make a diagnosis. My daily driver's brakes worked fine in the
morning (I note that it was below freezing outside). In the afternoon
the brake pedal went almost completely to the floor and I had what I
would guess was about 10 per cent of my normal braking capacity. There
is lots of fluid in my near new master cylinder, the brake warning light
did not trigger, and there is no visible fluid leak. When I put my foot
on the break and start the engine the pedal does go down a little so I
seem to be getting some boost. I did not pump a number of times and
then try this. I am stumped so I would appreciate any suggestions to
point me in the right direction. Thank you very much.
