Heater hoses carry fluids in fairly corrosive environments, but in fact, carry
no actual fuel, just as evaporative emission hoses. So as an interim solution
to evaporative emissions transport, I think they are a great compromise, since
most of these hoses are made of the same polymers.
We can debate SAE standards, but I see no point in doing this. See
