I think you guys are all missing the boat.  It sounds to me like an
imbalance in the matter-antimatter containment vessel, probably due to
contaminated dilithium crystals.  This can be fixed, but your framishes will
need to be re-bushed.  I can sell you a tool that I have invented, made of
specially hardened aluminum/manganese/cro-magnon alloys.  These are very
special items, but I will sell you one for $500 US, shipping extra.  Let me
