I was just reading in one of the UK TR forums that someone's car was
stolen at their recent annual gathering in Malvern. Pretty depressing
thought after all this work. I realize that if someone really wants your
car there is little that you can do to prevent it but maybe some
security is better than none. I don't much like loud sirens because
people ignore them anyway and they are just annoying but something that
chirps when it is triggered to deter a would be thief and pages a remote
might be handy especially if it is compatible with a 30+ year old manual
transmission convertible whose doors I don't usually lock. Anyone have
any good/bad experiences with TR friendly alarm systems ? Am I wasting
my time ?
