Just a note of caution: when putting all this back together be very careful
with the six nuts. Don't overtighten them because the studs will often come
out. That stuff is going into the soft aluminium of the control arms.

It sounds like you may still have the axle assemblu in the car. You
need to undo the
six nuts on each side that hold the hub assembly to the trailing arm,
and then pull the
axle assembly out. That's why there are those two holes in the hub
flange, so one
can get a socket in there to undo the nuts. No need to undo the large
nut holding
the flange to the axle, that would be asking for trouble.
