List---A couple of weeks ago, several people had responded regarding the
guy with the TR that had a slow reading on the oil pressure gauge when
starting up the engine. Recall that there was a spin-on filter, and it
took way too long before gauge pressure was seen.
The answer in this case was the line from the block fitting up to the
gauge was kinked right at the block. He was able to cut an inch from the
(nylon)? tubing, heat the nipple enough to soften up the 'new' end as
it was pressed back on. The compression nut then sealed the deal.
Thanks to those who sent in suggestions. (Jim Franks was closest to the
solution!)
