I have that header on my street car. I don't recall any "fitment" issues.

This is a good header. The primary tubes are a tad on the short side, the
primary benefit being that these "come in" a little higher on the RPM
scale than long primaries... But it's a good header. One nice thing about
the Moss header is that the primary tubes are nice and fat...
The Pacesetter/Monza header is not a good header out of the box. You need
to do a LOT of fitment to make it work right. There are a lot of "issues"
with this header, but it can be made to work even if not optimally.
But your on the right track getting the header fitted and tweaked before
you coat it.
