Gary,
Do yourself a favor & get rid of the Borg & Beck
pressure plate.  I'm assuming you're using a new B&B
PP.  British Parts offers a Sachs Plate.  Ask for it.
I won't go into what you missed cus the dark hole will
get deeper & darker.
