I had been following your story/problem while up at the cottage using my
T-mobile cell phone to check my email messages..... While driving home last
night in my 2002 F-150 with the 4.6L engine ticking off the miles at 75 mph
I was thinking about your miss firing problem.....AND then it started....
the truck started to feel like it was missing a little couldn't tell for
sure but then it got worst and for sure it was missing bad... after a while
the check engine soon light came on oil/water readings ok so continued on
home...
I should be out there right now with my OBD-II reader seeing if it will tell
me what when wrong but thought I would warn everyone to be careful about
what you are thinking about while driving.....
I did have to drive thru a lot of rain on the way home but had been in the
dry for about a hour before this started...had put over 300 miles on this
tank of fuel 1/4 tank left... Any one have any hints???? Bob
