Hello all, Just read a post about installing a head gasket upside down and it now has me wondering. Tomorrow I'm taking a 1971 block to the machine shop for honing or possibly boring. As this is an older block it isn't relieved for fire rings. For a more bullet proof engine should it be done? Could the newer head gasket be used without any other fitting problems? This engine will be supercharged. Time is running out. Help! Rick Patton\ 75 TR6 http://topshamautoparts.com/tr6/ |
