Hi Listers: Grease gun in hand, I had the occasion to get under my car for the first time since my local shop installed my exhaust system. I noticed that the down pipe is making contact with the edge of the oil pan. Short of changing the shape of the down pipes, or adding a shim in the form of a second exhaust manifold gasket, I can't see how to correct this. I tried to bend the edge of the oil pan out of the way, but no luck. Any comments? Is this a common problem? Thanks. colinthom@shaw.ca |
